A montage of scenes from the 1944 film Double Indemnity, starring Fred MacMurray, Edward G. Robinson and Barbara Stanwyck. A great example of "film Noir". Fred dictates the events that have transpired into a recording device, and fragments of scenes from the movie are depicted all around him - the man on crutches, hiding behind the door, Robinson's "little man" inside.
Holly enjoys exploring a variety of painting media, including oils, acrylics, pen and ink, pastels and watercolor. She has encouraged and taught hundreds of students in styles spanning realism to Impressionism to abstract art. Her wide range of work includes ancient sacred traditions, realistic local landmarks, whimsical fairy tales, and detailed pen and ink with hidden imagery. Her recent 15 month stay in India, where she studied Thangka painting (sacred Tibetan scroll painting) brought together her love of Buddhism, Tibetan culture, and expression in the arts.
